As a kite accessory, windsocks can be used as a stabilising drogue
in heavier winds, as a line climber, or simply for decoration.
They need to be hung with 360º clear space around them so
they can flap whatever way the wind is blowing without touching
any hard surface or catching any twiggy plants which will damage
the fabric.
These items are not recommended for permanent display as fabric
and materials will fade and deteriorate in sunlight.
